Session cookie
The reunite_session cookie maintains your session and helps protect actions against cross-site request forgery. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and Secure in production. A session expires after two hours of inactivity and has a 24-hour absolute lifetime. Signing out removes authenticated access.
Third-party requests
Map tiles contact the configured map provider. Stripe checkout opens only when you choose to contribute. Those services have their own privacy practices. Reunite does not include advertising or analytics cookies by default.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking the essential session cookie prevents sign-in and protected actions from working. Device location is requested only after you choose the location button.
Optional measurement and advertising
Analytics and advertising are disabled by default. When enabled, Privacy choices lets you allow or reject audience measurement and advertising separately. Optional scripts wait for your choice. Preferences are stored locally for up to six months. Withdrawing consent prevents future optional loads after refresh; existing provider cookies may need removal through your browser. The built-in preference interface is not a Google-certified advertising CMP. The operator must configure any additional consent tooling required for their audience.
Bot protection on account forms
When the operator enables Cloudflare Turnstile, protected registration, sign-in and password-reset forms contact Cloudflare to check for automated abuse. The check uses the submitted challenge token and network information. If verification is unavailable, the request cannot proceed; retry or contact support.
